Hejmo (formerly Give Something Back to Berlin) is a migrant-led community initiative that creates spaces of belonging through food, music, language, and art. By bringing together refugees, migrants, and anyone who wants to join, Hejmo transforms shared experiences into connections for a more inclusive and welcoming city. Empowerment of both new and long-term Berliners through volunteering, education, and mutual support is at the heart of everything we do. Hejmo is a home for our stories - a home we build together. By creating spaces, forging connections, and nurturing networks, we make community not just possible, but alive.
