In 2008, Melissa Ben-Ishay was fired from her job in advertising. Passionate about baking since childhood, Melissa decided to do what she loved and Baked by Melissa was born. Today, Baked by Melissa is famous for its signature, bite-size treats. With the idea that people should be able to taste more flavors without a post-dessert guilt trip, Melissa personally develops all of Baked by Melissa’s unique, bite-size creations and product offerings. Baked by Melissa operates 14 locations and ships nationwide.

Here at Cakeshop, we have been working with businesses for over 10 years to help create something different and special to add to their products. We work with a host of incredible corporate/trade clients and have created bespoke branded cake & cupcake toppers, custom edible topper designs for cocktails and hot drinks and cake toppers for one-off events. In the last few months alone, we have worked with a bakery to add poems to loaves of bread, a restaurant chain who wanted to add edible butterflies to their summer salads and a bar chain who wanted to replace real passionfruits with rice paper passionfruits on their cocktails to help reduce their carbon footprint. Our edible toppers are not just for cakes!
