Our mission is to inspire, challenge and empower girls to release their potential through a diverse range of wonderful opportunities and experiences. The Rangi Ruru environment is both supportive and challenging, where ‘having a go’ is celebrated and where learning is personal.
We want each girl to become a competent, connected and curious young woman with the belief in herself to pursue her dreams and the ability to contribute positively to her community.

In a rapidly evolving social, economic, technological and environmental landscape, our professional staff adapt continuously to ensure our students are ready to make their way in the world.
The academic results achieved by our students are amongst the highest in New Zealand and internationally, year after year. Our programmes are tailored to the specific learning needs of girls at every age and stage, ensuring each reaches her full potential.
Our modern campus provides a future-proofed learning environment and supports our girls’ participation in 80+ co-curricular activities, to an elite level. Programmes encompass the arts, culture, sports and technology, while encouraging students to make a positive difference through a range of service initiatives and to develop their leadership skills.
Positive relationships and Anglican values lie at the centre of our learning community. Our staff are committed to the wellbeing of our students and their whānau, and physical, mental, emotional and social health is woven into all aspects of our curriculum. All year levels enjoy the tuakana-teina (big sister-little sister) relationships formed throughout our College, providing role models and life-long friendship.
As they progress through our College, our girls join the ranks of over 10,000 Old Girls who have gone on to forge fulfilling careers in health sciences, engineering, business, technology and the creative industries. Our role is to prepare our students to step confidently out into the world, knowing how to look after their wellbeing, continuing to pursue their passions in the arts and sport, and with positive social habits established that contribute to a life of continued service and empowerment of others.
