HeatMatrix was founded in 2008 as a spin-off from Hexion (former Shell Chemicals) Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The company focusses on industrial waste heat recovery from flue gasses or drying air that contain acids or fouling elements. HeatMatrix has developed the proprietary technology for a robust honeycomb structured polymer heat exchanger.
