Talk-4-Care enables a healthcare provider to electronically and securely email specific health information, such as discharge summaries, clinical summaries from a primary care provider or specialist, lab results to ordering providers, or referrals over the Internet to another healthcare provider who is a known and trusted recipient. This service does not require providers to use an EHR or to purchase special software; all that is needed is a connection to the Internet and the use of a browser.
