Health Educated Inc. is a CT Benefit Corporation focused on recruiting, training and maintaining a network of diverse Community-Based Agents trained to assist people in navigating the health care system, from enrolling them in the proper health insurance coverage to educating them how to navigate the health care system in order to maintain their health and live healthy lives. Health Educated Inc. launched as a health insurance agency with it's network of Community-Based Agent's on November 2, 2015. At launch, there were 12 CBAs that are native speakers of 8 different languages; and the company is averaging bringing on board a new agent a on a weekly basis, with a new native speaker of an additional language on a bi-weekly basis. The CBAs primary focus is to assist people enrolling into and maintaining individual health insurance plans; primarily on the CT's exchange, Access Health CT; and into the CT Medicaid program - Husky. Health Educated Inc.'s network of Community-Based Agents is primarily found in and around Connecticut in the greater metropolitan areas of Bridgeport, Hartford, New Haven and Waterbury. The company has its main office in Farmington, CT and a satellite office in Waterbury, CT.
