Founded in 1991 by Jim DuVal, The Mindful Center is a private business with teachers in Albuquerque (Michelle DuVal) Santa Fe (Kate Reynolds) and Knoxville, TN (Claudio Barrientos). Since its inception, The Mindful Center has devoted itself to teaching mindfulness meditation for health, healing, and stress reduction with an approach that is non-religious and evidence-based.
