Headstrait is a full-stack software talent development & training firm. It is aimed at building strong, modern-technology talent. Headstrait is redefining Full Stack Development in Mumbai, through its TenX Program. TenX is a master class in technologies like Cloud Computing, Data Science, Visualisation & Reporting, Test Driven Development & more. It is a 1-year continuing education (Post Graduate) program for engineering graduates and early-career engineering professionals. The goal of this program is to create highly-skilled software developers who understand: 1. The value of a ‘developer-driven-everything’ mindset in software development. 2. How to interact effectively with business users to understand their needs, design, build, test, and deploy software applications. 3. How to work in teams minimizing the number of handoffs and requiring the least management oversight (self-managed teams). 4. How to create fluid, beautiful looking interfaces and build flexible, rock-solid back-ends. Mr. Krishna Ganesan is the founder of headstrait. Previously, he worked as Managing Director in Global Technology for JP Morgan Chase leading Technology teams of ~2,000 employees across 5 locations in India and the Asia Pacific. His teams were involved in significant transformations in the areas of Robotics, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Migration, and Low-latency Compute. For about 25 years, Krishna has been leading Technology teams and initiatives at several large corporations like Bank of America and Merrill Lynch and startups like airtel money and digital work. He has led many technology transformations in his career, notably: the creation of one of the first hand-held wireless trading systems on the Chicago Board of Options Exchange in the mid-90s, the setup of dozens of online small business services around 2000 in US, and the creation and national rollout of one of the early mCommerce platforms in India. He is now pursuing his passion of building strong, modern-technology talent, which he believes is the foundation for delivering maximum business value. A big advocate of building applications from reusable frameworks and microservices, he and a group of like-minded technologists have curated a curriculum for a one-year continuing education program at headstrait. He plans to personally coach teams to become adept at full-stack development on the cloud using modern open source technologies and deliver software in a self-managed, team-based, lean and agile manner.
