HdA architects Information

Every project begins with place—its light, climate, context, and the way people move through it. At HdA architects, we believe architecture should respond naturally to its surroundings rather than rely on a predetermined style. Founded by Helena Hung and Alex De Angelis in Boca Raton, Florida, HdA is a boutique architecture and design studio creating thoughtful private residences and select commercial projects throughout South Florida. Our intentionally small studio allows us to remain closely involved at every stage of the process, from the first sketch through the final detail. Each project is shaped by its site, its client, and a commitment to clarity, proportion, materiality, and restraint. We measure success not by scale, but by creating architecture that feels timeless, personal, and deeply connected to its setting—as though it had always belonged. "Architecture is the art of restraint — the finest spaces say less, and mean more.”
