Tourism Hawkesbury produces a comprehensive and high quality visitors guide for the Hawkesbury Valley . This is an additional mechanism for you to effectively advertise and promote your businesses. These Visitor Guides are distributed through the Sydney markets and at point sale within regional Visitor Information Centres and Trade Shows. We also distributes 'The Hawkesbury ..Experience it!' via events including the The Sydney Getaway Travel Show and the Canberra Spring Home and Leisure Show. Tourism Hawkesbury aims to be the premier body in the Hawkesbury Region developing and promoting tourism to it's full potential. Combined with these activities, Tourism Hawkesbury has adopted a marketing campaign to increase awareness of our area to Bus and Coach operators. We work closely with the Department of State and Regional Development, Greater Sydney Tourism and Tourism New South Wales to increase the programmes available to local operators. This includes seminars that will workshop how to be competitive in the international market, tourism industry marketing and a range of other topics. We share a positive relationship with Tourism NSW who supported the creation of our Fact Sheets on the Hawkesbury Area and contributed towards out professional photo library (which is available for your use). Our renewed involvement with 'Visnet' and 'Get Connected' programs are sure to increase the visibility of our region also.
