Hatz Architects Information

DESIGNING A FUTURE WORTH LIVING IN™ HATZ is a Melbourne-based architectural practice that designs spaces where life's most meaningful moments unfold—from lecture theatres where tomorrow's leaders discover their potential, to homes where families flourish, to healthcare facilities where healing happens faster and medical breakthroughs emerge. Founded in 2004 as a multi-disciplinary design studio, HATZ provides architectural, interior design and urban design services to public and private sector clients. Our vision is simple yet profound: design a future worth living in™. We fulfil this through our mission of creating memorable buildings by delivering client success through inspired people. This mission is guided by three core values that define everything we do: Design Excellence – We produce memorable spaces that push boundaries whilst remaining practical, functional and beautifully resolved. Architecture must project beyond the current status quo, creating environments that genuinely enhance how people live, learn, heal and work. Client Success – We achieve outcomes that enhance our clients' success. Through close collaboration with clients, consultants and contractors, we deliver progressive and sustainable environments that don't just house ambitions but amplify them. Inspired People – We strengthen capabilities to develop the next generation of architectural leaders, investing in talent that brings both seasoned expertise and fresh thinking to every challenge. The future isn't something that happens to us—it's something we actively shape through the work we do today. Every building we design is a vote for the kind of world we believe is possible: one where great architecture enables great minds, where inspired spaces create inspired people, and where the built environment genuinely makes life better.
