Who is HASA? We provide prevention, treatment, and advocacy in the area of communication INTERPRETING Serving businesses, public institutions, individuals, and families throughout Maryland with interpreting services, American Sign Language (ASL) classes and Deaf awareness workshops. EDUCATION SERVICES Gateway School was founded in 1957 and is a 12-month, nonpublic, coeducational facility for children ages 5 through 15 with autism, development disabilities, and communication disorders. We are approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). Gateway School meets the criteria for non-public tuition assistance and private pay students also attend. Our state-of-the-art campus offers bright classrooms equipped with 21st-century classroom technology, speech-language therapy rooms, a library, a fine arts room, auditorium, gymnasium, and playground. HEARING & SPEECH-LANGUAGE SERVICES Comprehensive on-site audiology, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and fluency enhancement services. Most major insurances accepted.
