Founded in 1996, the Harvard Financial Analysts Club (HFAC) is dedicated to providing the Harvard student body with financial education programs and real-world investment experience. Through the HFAC Comp, new members are provided an introduction to finance with a focus on internship and career preparation. After completion, students can help research ideas for HFAC's $47K long/short equity fund, a portfolio managed by the organization. In addition to its weekly comp and fund meetings, HFAC hosts guest speakers from both academia and industry.
