Hartfield Conveyancing is an family owned and operated independent Settlement Agent. We specialise in successfully completing real-estate transactions. We understand the fine print in your Contract and we check that everything is as it should be and handle the complex paperwork involved in a settlement transaction. Hartfield Conveyancing will look after your interests during the time leading up to and at the point the money changes hands and the documents are registered to transfer the property to the Buyer. In Western Australia all Settlement Agents must be licensed. The Settlement Agent's Act requires that we have Professional Indemnity Insurance and sets out the rules and regulations for things such as the operation and auditing of Trust Accounts and includes a Code of Conduct. You can choose your own Settlement Agent. A Real-Estate Agent or someone else might recommend a Settlement Agent to you - but the choice is really up to you. The Settlement Agent's Act gives you that right. You're free to choose your own Settlement Agent when you're selling or buying a property. Why it's important to choose your own Settlement Agent: If you choose Hartfield Conveyancing as your own Settlement Agent before you sign a Contract to buy or sell property, you can discuss with us things that might be to your advantage to have in the contract. Hartfield Conveyancing can give you an estimate of how long the process will take and how much it will cost. Hartfield Conveyancing's only interest is looking after your side of the Contract.
