Sound for Life is a neurotechnology company which helps people to reach their potential and improve quality of life through brain stimulation. We help children and adults overcome learning, attention, speech and language, sensory and auditory challenges as well as people recovering from brain injuries. Sound For Life has three tools and programs under its umbrella - Forbrain, Soundsory and Pronounce. These solutions have built on patented technology and research lead by our group of psychologists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists. Forbrain® (www.forbrain.com) Introduction Forbrain® is a unique device that uses bone conduction technology and a Dynamic filter that creates an Auditory Feedback Loop which corrects the way you hear your voice leading to better speech production and increased confidence. Bone conduction transmits the sound of your voice 10 times faster and with greater clarity than air conduction. The dynamic filter enhances specific frequencies of speech and continuously surprises the brain to increase memory, attention and sensory processing. Application Forbrain utilizes specific forms of auditory feedback to help the brain process sensory information more effectively, improving speech, language, and cognitive function. It has proven especially beneficial for students with reading and learning difficulties, such as reading comprehension, dyslexia, and information retention. Soundsory (www.soundsory.com) Introduction Soundsory is a multi-sensory home-based therapy program. It helps improve motor and cognitive abilities. The program consists of specially designed music processed with neuro-acoustic modifications as well as a series of movement-based exercises. The program duration is 30 minutes a day for 40 days. Soundsory is designed to be safe and effective.
