Originally called the “University of Christ’s Love” by its founder, Hardin-Simmons University strives to be a place where Christ’s love is glorified. The founder of Hardin-Simmons University, James B. Simmons, had two questions that he asked himself and believed our students should ask themselves. 1. “What is the greatest thought that has ever occupied your mind?" 2. New buildings include a new student fitness center, new apartment complexes, a new Physical Therapy building, and a renovated Physician Assistant building.
