Mindful Schools empowers educators to spark systemic change from the inside out by cultivating awareness, resilience, and compassionate action. Our vision is for all children to learn in “mindful schools” that nurture a new generation of leaders to create a more equitable and thriving world.
Mindful Schools is a non-profit organization founded in 2007. We are proud to be a partner of choice for over 500 schools across the country. We’ve trained over 70,000 educators through professional development training, community resources and events, and most recently, national schoolwide mindfulness programs.
Our programs are all designed by educators, for educators, with educators with deep experience bringing mindfulness to schools with an equity-centered, trauma-sensitive approach.
With an expanding network of educators working to implement mindfulness, and an unwavering commitment to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work, we are uniquely poised to cultivate joyful and just learning communities, no matter what the future holds.

Friday tracks employee happiness, helping businesses build a positive and productive work culture.
Over the last six years, Friday has worked with over 9,000 teams, across 1,000 organizations, measuring and improving happiness at work. Drawing on the science of happiness and the best systems thinking Friday has designed two interactive learning feedback loops to help organizations improve workplace culture.
The first is ’Feeling Fast’. Friday collects weekly happiness data and gathers frontline feedback about people’s experience. This is then shared at a team level in order to encourage ‘little and often’ behaviour changes. The second is ‘Thinking Slow’. Friday's impact analysis and quarterly culture profiles help organizations to lead strategic interventions and design sprint initiatives to improve their culture.
This isn’t just theory. Friday clients, who have increased their weekly happiness scores, have seen 7% increases in productivity and 17% falls in staff turnover.
Friday, don’t leave it to another day.
