Happy Hearts Indonesia (HHI) is a non-profit organization that envisions every child in Indonesia having equal access to quality education, regardless of socioeconomic status or geographic location, as well as the opportunity to attend a proper and safe school. We concentrate our efforts on the poorest provinces of Indonesia, where the educational gap is most pronounced, as well as in areas affected by natural disasters. In collaboration with local governments and communities, we construct safe and nurturing learning environments for students in these regions. Additionally, we are committed to ensuring the sustainability of schools by providing staff training and implementing innovative programs to enhance the learning experience. Over the past decade, HHI has positively impacted the lives of more than 100,000 children and rebuilt more than 330 proper schools—and this is just the beginning! From addressing plastic waste to promoting quality education: Happy Hearts Indonesia is now addressing the significant challenge of plastic waste in Indonesia. We are dedicated to addressing this issue by transforming recycled plastic waste into building blocks for our schools in partnership with our certified collaborator, @Block Solutions Indonesia. https://happyheartsindonesia.org/block-school/ Join our community of Changemakers.
