Happy Doctors Information

We hope to enable a conversation that’s currently bottled. People who enter medicine often do so for the selfless need to heal, but all too often to the sacrifice of their own health - mental and physical. That's where we come in. To do good, you must feel good. Happy Doctors is a community of medical voices dedicated to empowering a movement of happier doctors. In January 2017, Janine Wolf launched the social project with the goal of decreasing the high burnout rate within the medical professional group (e.g. 27% of medical students and 29% of residents have reported depression) by fostering an open conversation. The project recognizes that leveraging the abilities of current innovations in social media, technology and storytelling is powerful and has the potential to create a culture of happy, healthy doctors.
