Founded in 1999, Hanwha Engine is a leading manufacturer of low- and medium-speed marine engines. In 2013, we became the world's first company to commercialize a dual-fuel (DF) marine engine, and we continue to lead the development of eco-friendly engines running on methanol and ammonia. As part of Hanwha Group — one of South Korea's largest business conglomerates — since 2024, we combine decades of engine-manufacturing expertise with group-wide synergy to deliver aftermarket services, diesel power generation, and SCR solutions to shipyards and shipowners worldwide.
