Handworks.in, is an integrated, online B2C marketplace to help global citizens access, choose, and purchase authentic and exclusive Indian Handlooms and Handicrafts [handworks]. This is an artisan dependent model with immediate focus on profitability and long-term focus on bettering artisan lives. Clearly, there are websites that sell such products, but are limited to a mix of unclassified products, spurious at times and are demand-driven. We are looking forward to bring all popular handicrafts and handlooms in the country by directly interacting with the local producer groups and artisans. This will foster better understanding, focus and will ensure that the products offered are authentic. Most important, we will be able to offer everything under a single roof. The argument about competition does not exist, since we are not solely-for-profit. The vision is to share the profits two years down-the-line with the actual workers and offer them better lives by providing sops like health-insurance, better homes, or better working conditions, subject to individual assessments. This endeavor, in the long-term will also have its share in organizing the trade which as of today is quite in the unorganized sector. With tons of experience in digital marketing through which have made success stories out of our clients umpteen times, we have decided to pursue our passion of showcasing the country and culture to the world at large.
