Handcrafted Projects Information

Handcrafted is a North East charity working with people who have been excluded, overlooked or written off. Our mission is to offer the support, housing, opportunities and training people need to turn their own lives around. We work across Durham, Chester-le-Street, Gateshead, Sunderland and Darlington, providing supported housing, community hubs, accredited training and supported employment. Many of the people we work with have been told that they have little to offer. We take a different view. We believe everyone has something to contribute. That’s why we create practical pathways through accredited training, supported employment in our social enterprises, therapeutic activities and volunteering, designed around each person’s needs and strengths. So that every person we work with can build a hope and a future. 💙
