1993 yılında faaliyete Geçen Zorlu Enerji, bugün yurt içi ve yurt dışında oluşturduğu dengeli portföyü, deneyimi ve piyasadaki güçlü konumuyla sektörün önde gelen oyuncularından biridir. Zorlu Enerji’nin faaliyetteki santrallerinin toplam kurulu gücü 991,15 MW'tır.* Zorlu Enerji’nin üretim portföyü, Türkiye’de 7 hidroelektrik, 1 rüzgâr, 4 jeotermal ve 2 doğal gaz santralinden, yurtdışında ise; 1 rüzgar santrali, 1 güneş santrali ve 3 doğal gaz santralinden oluşmaktadır. Zorlu Enerji, sürdürülebilirliğe her yönüyle katkı sağlayan projeler gerçekleştirme ilkesiyle hareket etmekte; üretim portföyünde başta jeotermal ve rüzgâr olmak üzere yenilenebilir kaynak çeşitliliğini ve payını geliştirmeyi öngörmektedir. Zorlu Enerji, son olarak devreye aldığı toplam 165 MW kapasiteli Kızıldere 3 Jeotermal Tesisi ve Pakistan’da devam ettirdiği 100 MW’lık güneş enerjisi yatırımı ile yurt içi ve yurt dışında kurulu gücünü artırmaya yönelik çalışmalarına devam etmektedir.
