Hancock Regional Planning Commission Information

HRPC is a regional planning commission located in Findlay, Ohio that provides professional services to Members, Associate Members, and Clients. The membership categories are available for jurisdictions, organizations and agencies within Hancock County. HRPC can provide services to clients anywhere. HRPC provides a full range of planning services, including comprehensive land use plans, zoning ordinances and resolutions, assistance with subdivision regulations, GIS services and data collection and analysis. We offer a full compliment of grant writing, management, and resource mining assistance. HRPC aims to match sources with projects and opportunities. In general, the sources cover a variety of activities including: Community & Economic Development; Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP); CDBG Formula Review & Administration; Public Safety; Parks and Recreation; Brownfield Redevelopment, and; Transportation/Community Enhancement. In addition to the planning, grant writing, and engineering services, HRPC offers a variety of other support activities that we use ourselves. Services to prepare information, present data, create documents, conduct surveys, etc. are systems based and can be applied to many other projects. Some examples include: existing land use inventories; historic building inventories; data collection & analysis; building conditions reports; community image surveys; income surveys; on-line surveys; opinion surveys, and business surveys.
