In 1971 Aykut Hamzagil lay the foundations of Hamzagil we have today starting out with the principle of “to do what hasn’t been done” in the textile industry. Thanks to his abilty to keeping up-to-date with global fashion trends and adapting them to the local market, he has managed to make a reputation perennially in the fashion and fabrics industry. In 1981 upon his interest on printed materials, he decides to install a hand printing loom and thus takes his first step in the fabrics production. In 1990 in order to keep up with his busy order flow and to enter the foreign markets, he decides to transform his production from hand printing to automatic printing and establishes his first factory in Bursa. Since its establishment to this day, he focuses merely on printed materials to serve only as a collection provider. The factory contains diverse technologies from Flatbed screen printing machines to digital print machines which are considered to be the future of the textile industry. Having an experience nearly 50 years in the textile industry and always performing to make the best products, Aykut Hamzagil today manages his business together with his sons Ahmet Nuri and Ali.
