Hammond Development Corporation Information

The Hammond Development Corporation is a 501(c) (3) economic development organization that focuses on new business development. Since our establishment in 1981, we’ve assisted the City of Hammond in developing a flourishing, prosperous community that business owners and residents can take pride in. Our mission is to continue to foster the economic development of Hammond. We do this through the revitalization of Hammond, building technology-based businesses, developing and promoting the visual and performing arts and developing minority, women, and Hammond-based businesses. HDC manages Hammond INnovation Center, The Hub of Innovation, Indiana Building, and Hammond Urban Enterprise Association. 100,000 square feet of downtown office space to Downtown Hammond 400 entrepreneurs trained 50 startups funded 20,000 square feet theater building
