The Peterborough Petes are a junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League. The team has played in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, since 1956, and is the oldest continuously operating team in the league. The Petes play out of the Peterborough Memorial Centre, and are owned collectively by the Board of Executives. The Petes have graduated over 150 players and coaches to the National Hockey League. Notable alumni include Roger Nielson, Scotty Bowman, Eric and Jordan Staal, Chris Pronger, and Steve Yzerman.
