Halton Poverty Roundtable Information

The Halton Poverty Roundtable is a collaborative multi-sectorial group, which brings existing resources together. The HPRT acts as a catalyst to find innovative opportunities and resources to help integrate community efforts to address poverty in Halton. As such, the HPRT is part of a larger national movement of collaborative initiatives from Newfoundland to Victoria where dedicated groups have brought about change in their communities. The HPRT has identified three priority focus areas that require coordinated action: Housing, Healthy Families and Income Security. We are committed to educate and engage the citizens of Halton to bring about change, promote awareness, and encourage community stakeholders to learn from each other and align their efforts to support each other.
