Halpin Wildlife Research (HWR) is a small environmental research and consulting firm serving clients in Canada, the United States and internationally. HWR's clients include industry, federal, provincial and municipal governments, academia, Indigenous groups and non-governmental organizations. HWR’s work spans academic research, conservation and ecosystem management in a variety of marine, terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems. As Professional Biologists with a multi-disciplinary approach, we tailor our work to suit clients’ needs. HWR has a proven track record of establishing effective and collaborative relationships, and working well with industries, governments and other resource management professionals to achieve goals on time and within budget. With over 30 years of combined experience in environmental consulting and research, HWR’s goal is to provide cost-effective, pragmatic and scientifically rigorous solutions to support environmental questions and issues. We provide everything from wildlife field monitoring and baseline inventories in remote wildernesses to desk-based studies, academic research, data analysis, environmental assessment, mitigation, environmental management planning, report writing and expert scientific advice.
