Hallett Movers was established in 1937. We are a family owned business operated by the 2nd and 3rd generations. Through years of experience and development, Hallett Movers can arrange and execute any type of move within a specified time frame and with a plan to meet any budget. Hallett is also able to offer consulting services, storage and warehouse services and furniture assemble and disassembly. Hallett is recognized nationally as the premier library and records relocation specialists. Hallett has developed and refined a specialized “Range Mover” to assist in re-carpeting and reconfiguration projects. This “Range Mover” enables entire shelving units to be moved without having to remove the contents of the shelving. Hallett are longstanding members in many professional associations including Illinois Movers’ and Warehousemen’s Association, American Library Association and the International Facility Management Association.
