#HalfMyDAF is a philanthropic initiative working to unlock the billions of dollars sitting in donor-advised funds (DAFs) and move those resources to nonprofits making a difference today. Across the United States, more than $326 billion currently sits in donor-advised funds. Since launching in 2020, the #HalfMyDAF community has helped grant more than $97 million to nonprofits nationwide, including $26.5 million in 2025 alone through donor grants and matching funds provided by program partners. Each year, participating donors commit to spending down their donor-advised fund.
