Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) was established under the Council of Ministers resolution No. (1) dated 07/01/1424 H, as an independent body corporate that directly reports to the President of Council of Ministers. The Authority objective is to ensure the safety of food and drug for man and animal, the safety of biological and chemical substance as well as electronic products. Vision: To be a leading international science-based regulator to protect and promote public health. Mission: Protecting the community through regulations and effective controls to ensure the safety of food, drug, medical device, cosmetic, pesticide and feed.

Our vision at the Food Safety Authority Ireland (FSAI) is safe and trustworthy food for everyone and our mission is protecting consumers by leading a collaborative food safety community to continuously raise food standards and create a culture of excellence. We place consumers at the centre of all our activities. Consumers have a fundamental right to safe food and also that they are not being misled about the food they are purchasing or eating.
