Why we do it: To facilitate reconstruction efforts currently taking place in Haiti, and speed up Haiti’s growth by building a bridge between individuals and companies in and out of the country. Brief History of the Business: January 12, 2010 marked a day of pain and sorrow for the people of Haiti. Many families lost their loved ones including ours. The earthquake left the country in shambles with people in need of emergency, health, nutritional, counseling, financial, shelter and sanitary services and much more. After the earthquake, many families felt frustrated and abandoned when they tried to identify resources suitable to their specific needs, whether it was shelter, aid, and just plain information. Haiti1Stop.com™ was created to fill in the gap by providing a free online tool committed to deliver concise and updated information.
