About Hager India Hager began its India operations in 1996 and commenced independent operations in 2012. This expansion aligns with Hager’s global Project 2030 strategy, under which India has been identified as a strategic growth market. In support of this vision and the “Make in India” initiative, Hager established a manufacturing unit and commissioned distribution centers in Pune, Gurgaon and Bangalore while also strengthening its sales and marketing presence across the country. Hager’s manufacturing facility was established in 2016 with an investment of INR 1 billion. Spread across 3.7 acres, with provision for further expansion of 2.7 acres, the plant employs around 200 people, with more than 80% of the workforce comprising women, reflecting Hager’s commitment to diversity and inclusive growth. Hager has four sales offices and a nationwide sales force covering 29 cities, supported by service centers across the country. With a strong focus on residential, commercial and industrial buildings, we provide globally proven solutions that are fully aligned with local standards and project requirements.
