Ørestad Gymnasium er et moderne gymnasium fra 2005 med ca. 1150 elever og 120 lærere. Vores bygning er skræddersyet til moderne undervisningsformer. Bl.a. spiller IT en vigtig rolle i dagligdagen, hvor undervisningen er 100% digital i 1.g og 2.g og fra sommeren 2014 også i 3.g. I 1.g undervises alle elever vha. en iPad, og der arbejdes systematisk med brug af portfolio. Vi bruger Google Apps som vores Learning Management System. Lærerkollegiet er bredt sammensat og er kendetegnet ved at udøve en høj grad af vidensdeling og hjælpsomhed. Som lærer på Ørestad Gymnasium planlægger, forbereder, gennemfører og evaluerer man undervisning både individuelt og i samarbejde med andre lærere. Vores lærere underviser både i de åbne gruppemiljøer og i mere almindelige klasselokaler. Nye gymnasielærere får tilknyttet en mentor.
