Hactar is a design and dev agency making websites and digital tools for charities and organisations having a social impact in the UK. Our aim is to help you help others with good ideas and good technology. We make all sorts of sites and tools, from bold and engaging content sites for support and fundraising to big complex membership platforms with bespoke payment, event, account and CRM requirements. Some of our recent work includes: A health tracker for Kidney Care UK that reached 300,000 users in its first few months (we built the whole site too), a knowledge hub for global humanitarian frontline workers consisting of tends of thousands of resources for ALNAP, a website exposing corruption with undercover investigations for Global Witness, a site to support young people in mental health crisis for The Mix and a full mega membership platform for expecting and new parents of twins and multiples and health professionals for Twins Trust (launching summer 26). We're an experienced and senior team. We do everything in house from strategy, discovery and design to the tech that is user and editor first, supports transformation, and is robust, secure and future-proofed (we're looking at you AI).
