Hack at UCI Information

Hack at UCI is a student-run committee founded in 2013. We strive to build a strong, inclusive community of creators in tech. Through our annual hackathons and workshops, we provide students of all skill levels with the resources to learn, grow, and develop technology of the future. Across our events since 2021, our community of over 2,600 hackers has built 300+ projects and has won over $35,000 in prizes. OUR EVENTS IrvineHacks: The largest collegiate hackathon in Orange County. Every year, we bring together 500+ hackers, mentors, and industry professionals for 36 hours of relentless innovation and building. ZotHacks: Our beginner-friendly hackathon where students with minimal computer science experience can learn new technical skills, find their community, and deploy their first projects. VenusHacks: Co-hosted with WICS (Women in Information and Computer Sciences), this is UCI’s largest women-centric hackathon focused on empowering women, gender minorities, and underrepresented groups in tech.
