Rice and Beans is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness through compassionate outreach and practical support. Since 2010, we have been serving on the streets of Charlotte, Gastonia, Rock Hill, and Wilmington, providing hot meals, clothing, and essential supplies to those in need. Our organization is 100% funded by donations, and we are committed to full financial integrity—no one on our team receives a salary from donated funds. Every dollar given goes directly toward serving the homeless community. What began as a simple act of service has grown into a sustained outreach built on consistency, trust, and love. At the heart of Rice and Beans is a desire not only to meet physical needs, but also to offer hope. Along with food and clothing, we share the message of Christ’s love, believing that true transformation comes through both compassion and faith. Our mission is to serve the homeless with dignity, build relationships, and reflect the love of Jesus in tangible ways.
