Having spent our entire careers in the insurance industry, we are familiar with its complexity. We saw it every day -- the lack of guidance, the tricky jargon, the hassles in changing your policy or filing claims -- all the things that kept away precisely the people who needed insurance the most. While working together the past five years, we talked frequently about helping everyone research, understand and make confident insurance buying decisions. As our friendships strengthened, so did the resolve to bring change. Thus Gyder was born.
