GWCI Information

Do you want to protect your reputation? GWCI specialise in guarding your reputation, providing you with a risk and compliance service across the globe. We join the dots scattered across different media, languages, records, continents and databases to help you know your customers better. We analyse what we find about your suppliers, partners and customers with a rigour born out of many years of collective experience in specialist fields. If something is in the public domain, even if it is really buried, we dig deep enough to find it. We are not easily alarmed though, so we analyse every complaint we find to see if it holds water. All this in a bespoke manner to suit your requirements. In addition to a detailed investigation into your chosen subject person and subject company, we always include a special report on the country which the transaction will occur in. Usually this is the subject company’s seat of registration. Sometimes it is elsewhere. We refer to a range of internationally respected institutions, such as the World Bank and Transparency International, which rate jurisdictions according to, respectively, the ease of doing business there or the general incidence of corrupt practices. We also provide an overview of various issues which might trip up a foreign investor, such as the risk of conflict, the political and legislative context or the attitude to climate change. You could perform all these checks yourself. If you have the time, the expertise and the experience. Or why not call us for a free exploratory chat , saving you time and importantly your reputation before it's too late.
