The Green Valley Civic Association is a community-based non-profit organization established in 1960. Its primary purpose is to protect the quality of life in the neighborhoods of the northern area of Poway. The GVCA is not a homeowners association. It is operated by a Board of non-paid volunteers who represent the community interests before governmental agencies and who keep its members informed of matters which could affect their property values and quality of life.
