Welcome to GU Orbit! We are a dedicated organisation from the University of Glasgow committed to making the space industry more accessible for students, and we are the first student-led society in Scotland to attempt to build and launch a micro-satellite to orbit! The Astraeus-01 mission is our first launch campaign, entering orbit in 2021! With a team of over 60 members across a broad range of disciplines from engineering to graphic design and computer science to business, we are a fast-growing family of like-minded individuals united by a common goal – bringing space closer for everyone.
