GTA, Inc. was incorporated in 1997 as a structural engineering firm serving the Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets. Our primary focus is engineering for new and existing buildings for clients that are predominantly architects. In addition, we do some work directly for other engineers, owners and contractors. Our approach to building design is that the simplest solution is usually the best; however we will, when necessary, exhaust every effort to engineer creative and complex structural solutions to solve problems or create aesthetics that are important to our clients. We believe in a high level of documentation to minimize confusion and to limit questions during construction, which usually has the benefit of maximizing the builders' understanding of the project during the bidding phase. We also believe that the team approach to design and construction is critical to the success of the project, and strive to maintain a high degree of professionalism, courtesy, and respect to all who are involved. As a result, we enjoy excellent relations with our clients that usually extend to the contractors we deal with as well. Our client base is quite diverse and gives us depth of experience in a broad range of construction types. The strength of our experience is in the public and private schools, churches, public works, light commercial and residential markets. We additionally have a solid background in municipal projects, pre-engineered steel structures, and industrial projects.
