La GIOMI S.p.A. viene costituita nel 1949 per volontà del Prof. Franco Faggiana - medico chirurgo siciliano docente presso l'Università “La Sapienza” di Roma - e di alcuni imprenditori romani e reggini, con lo scopo di creare nell'Italia meridionale del secondo dopoguerra strutture ospedaliere all'avanguardia nel settore ortopedico. Presente nel panorama nazionale con 4 grandi Ospedali ed oltre 30 Case di Cura partecipate, la GIOMI rappresenta oggi una delle Società leader della Sanità Privata Italiana. Presidente del Gruppo GIOMI è il Dott. Emmanuel Miraglia. Consigliere Delegato e Direttore Generale è il Dott. Massimo Miraglia.
