GRUNDFOS Direct Sensors™ is two product lines of sensors protected by a trademark. An OEM product line for integration and low voltage signals, and an Industrial line with standardized signals for PLC modules and Building Management communication. The OEM sensors have primarily been used in heating and cooling systems spearheading new REnewable solutions within Solar Thermal, Heat Pumps, IT Cooling, Heat Recovery and HIUs. The Industrial range comes for bigger pipe sizes and vis-a-vis- higher flows plus pressures, working best in Water supply, water treatment, reverse osmosis, chillers and IT Cooling for bigger systems. SiliCoat is a registered trademark protecting our technology behind Direct Sensors. In the end of 2015 we have brought to the market our latest innovation: the 3in1 sensor measuring flow, pressure and temperature in 1. This sensor, called MFS (multi flow standard) is a low voltage sensor (5VDC) with a digital output on an open protocol, able to be used by all.
