As one of only five approved Commercial Seed Processing Facilities in Alberta, Grumpy’s specializes in native plant material grown specifically for a project’s seed zone. Grumpy's team prides itself in having a unique and skilled employee base, comprising Professional and Technical Agrologists, Environmental Professionals, Erosion and Sediment Control Professionals, Journeyman Landscapers, and Certified Horticulturists and Designers. Construction – Grumpy's provides landscape design and build services that include (but are not limited to) earthworks, retaining walls, paving stones, decks, patios, fire pits, custom woodwork, sod, trees, shrubs, flowerbeds, irrigation installation and arbour care. Grumpy's incorporates innovative, custom solutions to its clients' landscape project needs. Reclamation – Grumpy’s combines state-of-the-art equipment, quality products, and highly trained staff with Best Management Practices for industry-leading, innovative reclamation, revegetation and erosion/sediment control projects. Although specialized in technical, higher altitude reclamation on oil and gas sites, power lines and pipelines, Grumpy's services also range from large scale slope stabilization to wetland construction and bioengineering. Environmental – Grumpy’s has knowledgeable and diversified professionals who provides services for: complete soil and vegetation assessments; detailed site assessments; environmental project management; project drafting and design; monitoring; and technical report writing.
