Orlando consistently ranks as one of the top cities in the U.S. for growth, business friendliness and job creation. Florida has 6 of the fastest-growing metro areas in the U.S and metro-Orlando’s population grew to 2.3 million. GrowthSpotter launched in May 2015. In late October of that year, the website was honored with a 2015 EPPY Award by Editor & Publisher for Best Business/Finance Website in the under 1 million unique visitors category. The site has won EPPYs in 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023.
