Groundwork Software Information

Groundwork Software pairs accomplished software veterans with new software developers to build quality, maintainable software while simultaneously training the next cohort of software leaders. We operate on three basic principles: 1) Software is important. As more and more of our daily lives depend on software, the quality of what we build, and how we build it, will only increase in importance. 2) Quality software takes care. Writing code is easy. Building a system that withstands the test of time and change is quite difficult. Experienced software developers have a lot to offer new developers, and the faster we can help new developers obtain the skills they need to manage complex projects the better off we will be. 3) Diversity is paramount. We believe building software is a creative process. Therefore the diversity of a software team, and the diversity of perspectives and ideas, directly impacts the quality of software. We feel this includes diversity of every imaginable type.
