Manchester Rugby Club, founded as Manchester Football Club, was one of the first rugby union clubs in the world, having been founded in 1860, eleven years before the Rugby Football Union. Home matches are played at Grove Park, Grove Lane, Cheadle Hulme, Stockport. The Club has a Senior Men's section (1st XV, 2nd XV, 3rd XV), Women XV & Girls ( Known as the Rubies u18/16/14/12/10), and also Minis, Juniors and Colts. The Club's home colours are red & white narrow hooped shirts, navy shorts and red & white hooped socks. Away colours are red & navy shirts, navy shorts and navy socks. Nottingham Rugby are a top 24, hybrid-professional rugby club, currently playing in the RFU Championship - the second tier of English rugby. The 'Green and Whites' as they are affectionately known, finished the 2015/16 season in seventh place, just missing out on a play-off place, where the winning team goes into the top flight of English rugby. Huddersfield Rugby Union Football Club is based at Lockwood Park in Huddersfield. It is a multi sports venue, function and meeting facility and is home to 28 businesses. HRUFC First XV play in National 3 North. We are also home to the Falcons, A-Team, Academy, and Age Grade teams.
