GridPassport Information

GridPassport brings Home Power Automation to the heavy side of smart home. Homes with solar, batteries, air conditioning, heat pumps and EV chargers already contain strong technology. The problem is that every device follows its own logic, while the household pays for the result of all of them together. GridPassport gives these devices a shared plan. The Passport is a small local coordinator, supported by software that decides when the home should charge, shift, reserve, cool, pause or export energy. It works around three outcomes: savings, resilience and comfort, without turning the homeowner into a full-time energy manager. HEMS is the familiar category. Home Power Automation is the wider job: coordinating generation, storage, climate, charging and dynamic electricity tariffs as one home power system. Our first V1 has been operating in a real home since January 2026. Its results are early evidence, not a universal savings promise. Outcomes depend on the home, tariff, devices, weather and local rules.
